Welcome to the Ranch!
We are an all off-grid location in the mountains. What does that mean?
For starters, you will want to keep your vehicles locked at night as well as make sure that there is no food or anything that smells good to bears. This can be anything such as sunscreen, soap, gum, etc. Bears eat anything.
Keep your eyes peeled. In addition to the bears, there are occasional nature sightings from the likes of deer, rabbit, eagles, coyotes, frogs, snakes and squirrels (you will definitely see squirrels, lots of them). Not only is it great to see some of these creatures, it is a great idea to see them safely. Keep your distance for best results.
Everything on the ranch is powered by the sun. Our solar systems work best during the long sunny days of summer, but not so much on the cloudy, snowy days of wintertime. With that being said we urge all visitors to conserve as much power as you can while enjoying all of the amenities the ranch has to offer.
Thanks!
